The role can be hybrid or 100% remote as long as you are based in the continental US. The candidate must be able to hold a US Secret Security Clearance.

Job Description

This role involves analog design targeting spaceflight or high reliability environments. You will be responsible for designing DC-10GHz ADC and DAC circuits along with interfaces to high-performance Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Your tasks will include analyzing and simulating analog circuits, schematic capture, component selection, and collaboration with PCB layout and fabrication vendors. You will also perform hardware integration with digital and optical hardware teams.

Responsibilities

• Design analog circuits for spaceflight or high reliability environments.
• Create DC-10GHz ADC and DAC circuits with FPGA interfaces.
• Analyze and simulate analog circuits during design process.
• Capture schematics and manage component selection.
• Collaborate with PCB layout and fabrication vendors.
• Perform hardware integration with digital and optical hardware teams.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in PCB Mixed Signal, Digital/Analog Circuit Design/Simulation.
• Experience with FPGA design or interfacing and PCB design.
• Proficiency in integration of opto-electrical devices, control loop design, power supply.
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or other mission-critical industries.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of circuit analysis tools.
• Experience with opto-electronic devices (Lasers, VOAs, PIN Diodes).
• IPC Class III cb design and assembly (nice to have).
• Willingness to comply with rigorous development processes.
• Ability to obtain/retain a secret government security clearance.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

The role can be hybrid or 100% remote based in the continental US. The candidate must be able to hold a US Secret Security Clearance.

Pay and Benefits
