Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an Engineering professional in Fargo, ND to perform evaluations, ensure component selection reliability, and support design solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating in a team environment, maintaining data accuracy, and preparing reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate specifications to select appropriate components, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Communicate analysis results and take necessary follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate in a team environment to support design solutions and participate in design reviews.
  • Maintain and update databases, files, and spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Verify data submissions for completeness and accuracy, and input information into systems following standard procedures.
  • Respond to routine inquiries and analyze moderately complex information using sound judgment.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies according to established processes; escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Maintain and update process documentation.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and distribute data to internal teams or external stakeholders.
  • Perform data analysis and support departmental projects aligned with skill level.
  • Interpret technical requirements to identify effective solutions for routine engineering challenges.
  • Apply company engineering standards, policies, and best practices.

Education:

  • Comfortable working within established processes and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred:
  • Experience with electronic circuit design.
  • Ability to evaluate and select engineering alternatives.
  • Experience working with purchasing, inspection, distribution, and vendor representatives.
  • Understanding of electronic components, their functions, and the ability to interpret datasheets.
