Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Decatur, IL

Duration: 12 Contract months (Possible extension)

Pay Rate: $45 - $50 an hour on W2

Summary:

The main function of an electrical engineer is to design, develop, test, or supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for various uses. A typical electrical engineer should be able to create engineering drawings and interpret blueprints.

Education & Experience Required:

• Engineering Degree or Engineering Tech degree required, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. At least 5 years of post-collegiate work experience in an engineering-related field.

Technical Skills (Required):

• Experience with 3D modeling software, Pro-E or Creo Parametric preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with electrical or hydraulic systems design

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

• Provide on-site engineering factory support for electrical wiring and installation on Large Mining trucks built in Decatur, IL. Update Creo models and prints for factory issues, and track/report progress.
• Work under direction from Tucson Mining Center, with local mentorship in Decatur, IL.
• Support electrical harnessing, cables, and hardware design for Large Mining Trucks in the Wheeled Products Engineering Electrical Installation Team, based in Decatur, IL, with core design team in Tucson, AZ.
