Position Summary

We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to take ownership of a critical piece of our powered equipment portfolio. We build life-saving transport and handling solutions used by emergency services, and our products need to be exceptionally reliable. You will not be lost in a massive corporate hierarchy here. Instead, you will join a tight-knit team where your work directly impacts product performance, manufacturing efficiency, and the end-user experience. If you are ready to move past routine support tasks and dive into real PCBA design, embedded firmware, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting, this is your opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and refine PCBAs, taking full ownership from schematics and Altium layouts to Gerbers and production release.

  • Write, test, and troubleshoot embedded software and firmware in C and C++ to ensure our powered systems operate flawlessly.

  • Solve complex challenges involving DC motor controls, lithium battery applications, and human-machine interfaces.

  • Collaborate directly with our manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams on the shop floor to resolve active product issues and improve designs.

  • Guide technical improvements based on real-world feedback, occasionally interacting with field teams or customers to understand how our equipment performs in action.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.

  • 2-5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or physical product environment.

  • Proven capability in PCBA design, specifically utilizing Altium Designer.

  • Strong proficiency in writing and debugging embedded software and firmware using C and C++.

  • Practical experience working with DC motor controls and lithium battery technologies.

  • A collaborative mindset with the communication skills needed to work across departments and thrive in an iterative, fast-paced setting.

  • We offer a competitive base salary, a strong year-end incentive program, and unlimited PTO, all within a supportive environment where your contributions are highly visible.
