Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical scope during construction, commissioning, and project handover.
• Develop and review electrical designs (single-line diagrams, grounding plans, motor control schematics) per NEC.
• Perform electrical calculations to support system design and equipment selection.
• Generate and review loop drawings, instrument plans, and specification sheets.
• Partner with engineering consultants on power distribution for capital projects.
• Prepare design specifications and scopes for small to mid-size projects.
• Support Maintenance with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical/instrumentation issues.
• Participate in FAT, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Support development of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Recommend and ensure proper installation of electrical equipment.
• Maintain and improve site electrical standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)

2-5 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), including classified areas

Experience with 480V distribution, motor controls, and instrumentation

Exposure to medium voltage systems preferred

Experience in chemical or process manufacturing preferred

Preferred Skills

Experience with PLC/DCS systems

Understanding of process safety (PSM) and MOC

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
