Job summary

Cindavi is seeking an hands-on Electrical Engineer in Cincinnati to own PCBA design, embedded firmware, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting. You will play a pivotal role in our powered equipment portfolio, ensuring reliability from schematics to production release.

You will design PCBA, write and test firmware in C/C++, and collaborate across manufacturing, quality, and R&D to resolve real-world issues and continuously improve products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 2-5+ years hands-on experience in electrical engineering, ideally in manufacturing or physical product environment.
• Proven capability in PCBA design using Altium Designer.
• Strong proficiency in writing and debugging embedded software/firmware in C and C++.
• Experience with DC motor controls and lithium battery technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine PCBAs from schematics and Altium layouts to Gerbers and production release.
• Write, test, and troubleshoot embedded software/firmware in C and C++ for powered systems.
• Solve complex challenges involving DC motor controls, lithium batteries, and human-machine interfaces.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams on shop floor to resolve issues and improve designs.
• Guide technical improvements based on real-world feedback, potentially interacting with field teams or customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine PCBAs, taking full ownership from schematics and Altium layouts to Gerbers and production release.
