Job description

Gov Solutions Group is seeking a mid- to senior-level electrical engineer to support government customers with power system design, fabrication, testing, and evaluation. This role directly supports the Tactical Integrated Data Ecosystem (TIDE) by developing power generation and distribution solutions across the TIDE environment and its components. Responsibilities include the design, fabrication, integration, testing, and assessment of AC/DC power systems that enable battery, solar, renewable, and alternative energy capabilities.

This position requires hands‑on engineering expertise in power conversion, energy storage, and system‑level integration within mission‑oriented environments. You will lead the technical design and engineering decisions related to electrical and power systems, components, and integration across the TIDE platform. You will work closely with mechanical and systems engineers to develop and deliver a modular, survivable data collection package for our clients.

You’re a strong fit for this role if you have experience in rapid prototyping, electrical and power systems design, hands‑on fabrication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple technical domains to meet evolving requirements and milestones. You’re an exceptional fit if you also have relevant experience operating within Department of Defense environments to design, build, and field modular sensing payloads
