Duties: Under the general direction of the Transmission Rates Unit supervisor, the incumbent performs the less complex electrical engineering work related to technical and economic evaluation of transmission studies and interconnection service requirements, and transmission rate design for the reliable and cost-effective operation of the State Water Project (SWP).

It is desirable that the incumbent have experience or knowledge using common computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD, Revit, and PSLF. They should also have knowledge or experience in engineering or power-related studies, including work involving CAISO, the State Water Project, or engineering projects. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others is preferred.
