Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead EPMS-focused design for advanced manufacturing facilities. You will manage schedules, ensure technical quality, and collaborate with clients, owners, and contractors across multiple projects.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in EPMS/I&C design, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. Hybrid work policy applies, with potential for remote work within the U.S.

What You’ll Do

Here’s what you'll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of engineering experience building EPMS electrical systems or I&C.
  • Experience with industry‑standard EPMS platforms such as Schneider EcoStructure, Eaton Brightlayer or Siemens Powermanager.
  • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
  • Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Team leadership and client interaction experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics.
  • Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of electrical design experience for semiconductors.
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
  • Medium Voltage (MV) design experience.

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $155,650.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
