Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • PE license or ability to obtain one.
  • Min 5 years of electrical engineering in construction (commercial/residential).
  • Proficient in electrical systems design, circuit analysis, power systems, and electrical safety management.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience stamping/sealing electrical engineering documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential construction, including power distribution, low voltage, and lighting systems.
  • Ensure designs and installations comply with NEC and other regulations.
  • Use software tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam) for design and circuit analysis.
  • Review and stamp/seal electrical engineering documents.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and contractors to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits for safety and code compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  • Stay updated with latest electrical engineering advancements and apply them.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and residential construction projects, including power distribution, low voltage, and lighting systems.
  • Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Use state-of-the-art software tools, including Revit, Autocad, and Bluebeam, for electrical system design and circuit analysis.
  • Review and stamp/seal electrical engineering documents, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure the electrical components of construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure electrical safety and code compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering and integrate them into operations and activities.

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
