Job summary

Stfrancis is seeking an Electrical/Electro-Mechanical engineering student intern in a hybrid role based in the United States. You will work with the Finished Products team to learn glass container manufacturing, focusing on cold end operations, and participate in projects that push efficiency and process improvements.

You will balance multiple projects, develop solutions, and create training materials for plant teams. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
• Ability to balance several projects simultaneously.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finished Products team to understand glass container manufacturing, focusing on cold end operations.
• Engage in projects to advance cold end operations objectives.
• Explore problems independently, propose solutions, and reach consensus on outcomes.
• Develop and implement solutions for Cold End Operations and other global teams.
• Review and prepare documents, videos, and training materials for operations teams.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy solutions and perform experiments in lab, pilot, and production environments.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams.
