Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering and at minimum classified as a sophomore or beyond.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript.
• Computer skills– familiar with databases, Windows environment and Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must have good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with external customers to provide electric service.
• Design electric distribution facilities and perform engineering studies using computer-based systems.
• Work as part of a cross-function team to meet customer needs.
• Assist in outage restoration efforts as needed.
• Work ~50% in office and ~50% out of office, year round.
• Responsibilities grow with tenure of student employees.
