Job summary

PowerTec Distribution & Motor Control Corporation seeks an experienced Manufacturing Assembly Technician in Arizona to support the Electrical department in assembling and repairing electrical enclosures, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. The role involves handling sheet metal components, securing fasteners, and ensuring precise torque per specifications.

The position requires high school diploma and at least one year of related mechanical experience, with preference for an automotive or robotics

Qualifications

Must have proven assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
Good eye-hand coordination for constructing small parts and assemblies.
Ability to work with mechanical systems, tools, and machinery.
Ability to comprehend and follow directions precisely.
Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist Electrical dept in crafting, assembling, and repairing electrical enclosures and sub-assemblies.
Assemble/join sheet metal components via fastening or riveting.
Torque connections following design specifications.
