Universal Technical Institute, Inc. in South Jordan, UT is seeking an experienced Electrician to join us as an Electrical & Electronics Instructor. You will lead hands-on labs, diagnose and repair electromechanical systems, and mentor students pursuing skilled trades.

We value practical knowledge and a passion for teaching. The role will include training prior to instruction, with a competitive pay rate of 35–39 USD per hour plus overtime potential, weekends off, paid training, tuition waiver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical electrical work experience; Journeyman/licensed technician preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for student interaction.
• Ability to mentor students and guide projects to completion.
• Wamiliarity with electrical safety and classroom safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and educate students in electrical and electronics concepts.
• Lead hands-on demonstrations, diagnose and repair systems.
• Collaborate to develop and update course content with industry trends.
• Mentor students on projects and performance, providing feedback.
• Maintain a safe and encouraging learning environment.
