Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a seasoned hardware engineer to join our product development team. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 5–10 years of hands-on experience in design, development, and implementation of electronic products.

You will work on mixed-signal hardware, power supplies, and processor-based designs, while identifying cost-saving substitutions and applying DFM/ FMEA/ DOE/ RCA as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in product design, development, and implementation.
• Electrical hardware design experience involving mixed-signal designs, power supply designs, processor-based designs.
• Experience identifying low-cost alternates to off-the-shelf parts such as monitors, printers, card readers, scanners, etc.
• Experience in design for manufacturability, FMEA, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis is a plus.
