Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Product Design Engineer to design and prototype new products, focusing on electrical components and electronic controllers. This role also involves supporting software/firmware development for new product prototypes, leveraging technological advancements.
Essential Functions:
- Design, verify, and prototype MCU, MPU, or FPGA-based electronic control systems and communication interfaces.
- Utilize hardware development facilities and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) tools for product development.
- Design and implement PCB designs that meet electrical, EMC, Safety, mechanical, thermal, and DFM/DFP requirements.
- Collaborate with the software/firmware team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Work with other engineering resources, project management, and purchasing to solve complex problems.
- Maintain aggressive product development schedules.
- Operate with minimal supervision and work effectively as part of a team.
- Develop demonstration platforms to showcase team work.
- Participate in standardization groups to advance technologies.
- Create training plans and train teams on EMC, PCB, and other HW-related matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing MCU, MPU, or FPGA-based control systems.
- Experience in digital and analog mixed circuit design.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like I2C, CAN, RS485, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, etc.
- Proficiency in simulation (CST, PSPICE), schematic capture (Cadence), and PCB layout (Allegro).
- Expertise in DC-DC power converter circuits.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with mechanical and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with PLM tools like Cadence, Allegro, Windchill PDM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ANSI C and Assembly language.
- Knowledge of bootloader and device drivers.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary: $128K – $150K + COLA + Bonus, based on experience.
