Job summary

E-J Group in Port Washington, NY, seeks a Draftsperson to join our Engineering team. You will model and produce design drawings, layouts, and sketches in line with project direction while supporting construction and prefabrication documentation.

This role collaborates with project engineers to meet deliverables nationwide. The position emphasizes proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, plus basic construction knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in a related field or industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk products such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Basic construction knowledge; eager to learn more; electrical experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering staff with project deliverables to keep pace with the project schedule.
• 3D modeling of electrical systems in REVIT per the direction of the Project Engineer.
• Create shop drawings and sketches based on the existing model; creates changes to existing drawings and models based on comments from the project team.
• Create prefabrication drawings to support fast-paced project delivery schedules

Position Summary

Join E-J's growing Engineering team and build a career with one of the nation’s fastest growing contractors. As part of E-J's Engineering team, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on high-profile projects nationwide, ranging from commercial buildings, to data centers. E-J is seeking an individual proficient in Revit, AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks. You will be responsible for modeling, and producing design drawings, layouts, and sketches in accordance with project specifications and direction of the project team. You will support the development of documentation needed for construction and prefabrication. You will collaborate with project engineers and managers to align with project deliverables.

Salary Range:$65k-$85k/year
