Frazer, Ltd. is a leading builder of custom emergency medical vehicles and mobile healthcare units. We seek an Electrical Drafter II to translate engineering intent into precise documentation used on the shop floor in Houston.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor Vault skills, and experience coordinating across engineering disciplines and ERP/MRP systems. Competitive pay and benefits support a healthy work–life balance.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field required.
3+ years in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor Vault.
Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines and with ERP/MRP.
Strong written communication for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Open AutoCAD Electrical and continue the latest schematic revision with minimal disruption.
Check Inventor Vault drawings, verify BOM accuracy, and flag discrepancies with Purchasing.
Assist shop floor with wiring questions and provide documented action items.
Create complete documentation packages with wiring diagrams, specs, and installation instructions.
Estimate material costs and support scope decisions with Engineering Manager.
Update work instructions and publish controlled documents after QA review.
Attend daily staff meetings and set priorities for the week.
