Job summary

Ameren Illinois seeks an Electrical Engineer to perform system planning and circuit analysis for distribution circuits up to 15kV, develop remediation plans, and manage projects from design to construction with emphasis on safety and reliability.

The role includes facilitating Renewable Energy Resources projects from 25kW to 5MW, providing engineering support to field teams, meeting with customers and contractors, and performing load analysis for substations, with emergency storm restoration

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) from an accredited college or university required. E.I.T. certification or P.E. registration preferred.
• Electrical engineering and project management experience preferred but will consider recent graduates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, cost estimate, budget and manage projects related to new business, reliability, government highway or local road projects, system growth, and essential maintenance for the electric system.
• Facilitate the installation of Renewable Energy Resources projects from 25kW to 5MW on the distribution system and perform engineering analysis for seamless integration.
