E2 Consulting Engineers, LP in Hawaii is seeking a Distribution Engineer to analyze overhead and distribution systems for a major electric utility client. You will use O-Calc, perform design calculations, and coordinate with the supervising engineer.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering (ABET) with 0–3 years of distribution design experience, proficiency in O-Calc and Microsoft Office, strong analytical skills, and solid communication.

Formación

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering required.
• 0–3 years of distribution design experience.
• Experience reading pole loading sheets and inputting data into O-Calc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Perform detailed design and calculations for overhead and/or underground distribution systems.
• Conduct field evaluations of proposed installation sites.
• Verify BOM meets project requirements.
• Design projects using PLS-CADD, O-Calc, SPIDA-Calc, or Pole Foreman.
• Calculate voltage drop, flicker, and pulling tension.
• Lead design review meetings and document minutes.
• Coordinate activities with supervising engineer, client, and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
