Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc is seeking a technically skilled Technician to assist in engineering and project management to extend and preserve ED’s distribution system for new and existing customers.

You will design expansions, meet with customers to define requirements, produce design documents, obtain right-of-way and permits, and support field staking, construction, troubleshooting, and storm restoration as needed.

Commitment to safety and reliability for our 750,000 customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Two years of experience with increasing responsibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design expansions to extend the distribution system for new and existing customers and prepare the necessary design documents.
• Identify small distribution projects to improve safety and reliability and deliver designs to C&M.
• Troubleshoot service problems and coordinate with customers on ED facilities and location.
• Assist in restoration of service after storms and review mapping updates.
