Qualifications

Electrical Diagnostic Technician / Mechanics needed.

This is not an entry level position.

Job duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work needed on various vehicles. Performing adjustments and calibrations, replenishing fluids, disassembling and reassembling vehicle components, and repairing or replacing parts. Using independent judgment to make decisions, documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies, and road testing vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution.

Work is indoors in a shop environment. Tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce vibration and force. Standing and walking are required throughout the shift. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling are frequently needed to access vehicle parts. Lifting and pushing/pulling weights from 20 to 100 pounds occasionally.

Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of mechanical or tech experience in a dealership or large independent shop.
  • ASE certifications preferred.
  • Ability to operate various vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record required.

Preferred: experience with Ford electrical systems, electronics, SYNC, multiplexing, networks, module reprogramming, anti-theft, navigation, speed control, and restraints. Willingness to learn or have experience with hybrid and High Voltage electric systems, including safe diagnosis and repair.
