Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Detailer Lead - Electrical to supervise the electrical detailing team and produce shop drawings and BIM models for prefabricated skids, HACs, and CDUs.

The role emphasizes coordination with design and modeling, ensuring install-ready output for the shop floor. Revit training is provided; on-site work 3–4 days a week; compensation is competitive with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of electrical detailing experience, or completion of an electrical apprenticeship with 4+ years in the field.
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort with design software; Revit training provided.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical trades and installation methods, including conduit, cable tray, panels, switchgear, and distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical construction documents and NEC codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical detailing team and constructability efforts for prefabricated skids, HACs, and CDUs.
• Partner with design and modeling group to minimize model rework.
• Lead communication among project team on electrical coordination and scope.
• Provide material, content, and feedback to electrical detailers.
• Lead final electrical trade coordination and sign-off.
• Contribute to the design pull schedule directing model development for electrical scope.
• Manage resources assigned to electrical detailing tasks.
• Participate in conceptual design for electrical systems supporting modular construction.
• Review and QA/QC electrical shop drawings, spool sheets, and models prior to release.
• Coordinate install-ready details with fabrication shop floor to support prefabrication.
• Support budget planning and cost accountability for electrical detailing.
