Job summary

ManpowerGroup, a leading global workforce solutions company, is seeking an Electrical Designer in the Madison, WI area to join the engineering team supporting manufacturing. The role focuses on developing wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment schedules using SolidWorks Electrical (SWE) or AutoCAD Electrical, and building initial drawing sets for customer submittal.

Ideal candidates have an academic background in Electrical Engineering or related field or hands‑on electrical design

Qualifications

Academic background in Electrical Engineering or related field, or hands‑on electrical build experience.
Experience with electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation in manufacturing or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of NEC and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

Build and review initial electrical drawing sets for submittal.
Develop wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment schedules using SWE, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent.
Apply NEC conduit and wire fill calculations.
Review project specifications and communicate impacts or updates to the build to project team members.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical insights and support issue resolution.
