Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Intermediate Designer for the Tool Installation team. The role focuses on electrical power, life safety, and telecom layouts for semiconductor manufacturing tools.

You’ll work with engineers and designers in a hybrid environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. A two-year associate degree is preferred, with NFPA70/NEC exposure as a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in electrical design and layout (one-line, riser, plan views).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization and self-performance skills.
• Ability to collaborate in various situations, including remote environments.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD to create electrical drawings for manufacturing tools.
• Prepare diagrams and layouts for power, life safety, and telecom services.
• Coordinate with engineers and design leads to balance workload and meet deadlines.
