Job summary

Henderson Engineers, Inc. is seeking an intermediate Designer II to design building systems, prepare design documents, and assist with engineering calculations under supervision.

You will mentor junior designers and support project teams across multiple sectors in a collaborative, inclusive environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent), proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3 years of relevant experience (or 6 years with a high school diploma or equivalent).
• FE exam preferred; additional certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design intermediate building systems and prepare design documents.
• Mentor less experienced designers and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate with project teams and review shop drawings for conformance.
• Support business development and client coordination activities.
