Meade is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer II to design & draft electrical construction plans for data centers and high-profile commercial projects. Prior drafting experience is preferred, with flexibility toward related fields. The role emphasizes professional growth and development.

The position requires working with project managers and engineers in a fast-paced environment, adhering to deadlines, and delivering accurate drawings while integrating Revit BIM coordination when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an electrical designer/drafter.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Ability to work in a team with project managers, engineers and designers.
• Fast-paced environment with deadlines and multi-tasking.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of engineering and construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, draft, and publish electrical construction documents for data centers and high-profile commercial projects.
• Perform drafting work under the direction of project managers and engineers, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines.
• Create and maintain company-specific AutoCAD standards and technical details.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design challenges and improve drafting processes.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Support project documentation, including design revisions, as-built drawings, and technical submittals.
• Assist in the integration of Revit models and BIM coordination when applicable.
