Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Electrical Designer II to design and document electrical systems for water-cooled and air-cooled chiller products. You’ll develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts, supporting new product development and manufacturing.

You’ll work under a Lead or Senior Designer in a collaborative team focused on quality, performance, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include producing designs with CAD tools, managing BOMs, and traveling to support

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD required.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs and documentation using CAD tools and PLM systems.
• Document parts and bills of materials (BOM).
• Lead small project segments with oversight from engineers or senior staff.
• Develop working knowledge of design and drafting standards and processes.
• Maintain CAD software competency through training and materials.
