Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an Electrical Designer II to perform detailed electrical design on assigned building projects under supervision of a licensed professional engineer. You will produce drawings, perform code reviews, and participate in studies to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or associates in electrical-related field, or 4–5 years as electrical designer, plus 2–4 years as an electrician or journeyman license.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects, including code review and calculations.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects; prepares and distributes meeting notes.
• Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions or proposed conditions.
• Assists the design team in coordinating with other disciplines.
• Accompanies senior staff on site visits during construction to monitor progress.
• Assists in preparing punch lists and project observations reports.
• Attends training sessions to obtain knowledge in technical areas.
• Participates in industry organizations and events.
• Upholds company values and owner advocacy philosophy.
