Job summary

ENFRA, a leader in energy infrastructure, seeks an Electrical Designer to perform complete electrical design on assigned projects under the supervision of a licensed professional engineer. Responsibilities include wiring diagrams, code reviews, and coordination across disciplines for timely, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent experience) and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with 25% travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Well versed in the industry and the company's competitors.
• Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of scope of work when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Designs and prepares drawings for electrical systems for building projects including code review, lighting calculations, layouts, one-line diagrams, branch circuits, feeders, and service calculations under supervision.
• Attends meetings with owners, clients, and architects; prepares and distributes meeting notes.
• Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions or proposed conditions.
• Assists the design team in coordinating with architectural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, structural, and civil disciplines.
• Accompanies senior staff in site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and codes.
• Assists in preparing punch lists and project observation reports.
• Attends in-house and external training sessions to gain technical knowledge.
• Participates in industry organizations and events.
• Upholds the company’s owner advocacy philosophy and core values.
