Job summary

Triumph Engineering & Design, Inc. (TED) seeks an Electrical Designer for the Grand Blanc, MI office. This is a full-time, permanent position with responsibilities to produce electrical construction documents and perform load calculations under limited supervision.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD, Lighting Software, and Microsoft Office, with familiarity with NEC and strong communication skills. We offer benefits such as 401(k), health and vision insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Degree in progress in related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lighting Software and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with NEC code principles.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for multi-family residential facilities and commercial buildings.
• Perform load calculations.
• Prepare construction documents and schedules (panelen, fixtures, etc.).
• Coordinate with clients and other design disciplines.
• Review and approve electrical submittals.
• Attend job site visits for field verification.
• Communicate and meet with clients
