Qualifications

• 2-year Electrical Engineering or technology associate’s degree or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in electrical system design, focused on building systems.
• Proficiency in load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and REVIT for engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to determine design criteria, codes, and full building electrical systems.
• Assist with equipment selections, calculations, and layouts for building services and low-voltage design.
• Design and layout low voltage systems such as fire alarm and telecommunications.
• Prepare detailed drawings/specifications using AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Engage with clients to discuss design options and provide guidance throughout projects.
• Review designs to ensure quality and regulatory compliance, implementing improvements as needed.
