Job summary

Konik, partnering with a well-respected commercial construction firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer in Maplewood, MN. You will develop, review, and maintain electrical designs for diverse building projects, collaborating with PMs, estimators, engineers, and other design professionals to deliver code-compliant, constructible designs.

Requirements include a degree in electrical design or engineering, 5+ years in electrical design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Bluebeam, and Office.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics and code compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise electrical systems and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Perform electrical calculations: load, voltage drop, short circuit, lighting.
• Coordinate with estimators and managers to meet project needs.
• Review submittals for NEC compliance and codes.
• Present designs in client meetings.
• Conduct clash detection and design coordination.
• Manage multiple projects to meet schedules and quality.
