Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the design and development of code-compliant electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities in Lansing, Michigan. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and project teams to produce detailed drawings, specifications and load calculations under guidance.

This contract-to-hire role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical design for industrial/commercial facilities.
• Proficiency with lighting, power, fire alarm and security systems.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electrical systems for facilities.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications and assist through project phases.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, reliable systems.
