Job summary

Search Masters is seeking an experienced electrical designer to lead the design and development of industrial controls for custom automation equipment. You will create electrical schematics, CAD drawings, BOMs, and installation documentation, collaborating closely with panel shop technicians.

Candidates should have at least 2 years' hands-on experience, proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, and solid NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and control panel development
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software platforms
• Solid knowledge of control systems and NEC requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of industrial controls systems for custom automated machinery
• Produce electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and installation documentation
• Create and revise CAD drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or similar platforms
• Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing and procurement
• Collaborate with panel shop technicians to resolve design issues and optimize buildability
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during fabrication, testing, commissioning, and startup phases

Job Description
