Job summary

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with an Electrical Controls Engineering search in the Lordstown area.

This position offers a hybrid work option, allowing for up to three days of remote work from a home office, or the choice to be 100% onsite in the Youngstown-Warren area.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Program Control Systems: Focus on PLC programming and scripting to optimize system performance.
• Develop and Maintain Sequence of Operations (SOO): Create and test procedures for each control system to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Engineer Control Panels: Prioritize functionality, safety, and regulatory compliance in the design process.
• Create Detailed CAD Drawings: Produce electrical schematics and panel layouts that accurately represent the system design.
• Specify Electrical Components and Materials: Enter Bills of Materials (BOMs) into the MRP system (SAP) to streamline procurement and inventory management.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in designing control panels and control systems tailored for industrial applications.
• Skilled in programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to optimize automation processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for creating precise electrical schematics and detailed panel layouts.
• Well-versed in industry standards and codes governing control panel design and safety compliance.
