Job summary

TruNorth Automation is seeking an energized engineer to join its growing team in Minnesota. The role focuses on electrical design and drafting electrical prints for the controls group, while also engaging in hands-on assembly and power-up of automated manufacturing equipment.

The successful candidate will contribute to projects for life sciences and med device industries, supported by a driven, experienced team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field with minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Internship, co-op, or team experience related to control systems.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software, electrical design, and/or robotics is a plus.

TruNorth Automation is looking to continue growth in its engineering department. The ideal candidate has experience with AutoCAD electrical, has hands-on electrical wiring experience, and is self motivated and driven to succeed. You will be performing electrical design, drafting electrical prints for the controls team, and working hands-on with assembly and power-up for automated manufacturing equipment. You are joining a driven and ambitious team with decades of experience in delivering sophisticated automation equipment to the life sciences and med device industry.

Qualifications
