Gaston Electrical, a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, is seeking an Electrical Designer to lead electrical design efforts and coordinate with the BIM team across commercial and institutional projects in New England. The role focuses on layout, rack, pipe runs, electrical rooms, and build-book creation for prefab.
You will work with Project Managers, Prefab Manager, and Foremen to optimize design, ensure model accuracy, and drive on-time project delivery. Strong coordination and leadership are required.

The Electrical Designer will lead the electrical design efforts for projects and work closely with the project team throughout (layout, rack, pipe runs, electrical rooms). They will partner with the BIM team to ensure accurate information is loaded into the model and coordinated with all trades, and all drawings are signed off on. They will work with the PM, Prefab Manager and Foreman to identify all Prefab opportunities. They will also work with the Prefab Design team to create build books for the Prefab shop.
