Job summary

A leading staffing firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer/Drafter to support a variety of electrical systems projects including commercial, educational, and residential. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in electrical design and drafting, strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD, and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively. This full-time position is located in-person in Calabasas or surrounding areas with a competitive salary range of $70,000–$100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical design and drafting experience.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes is essential.
• Proven ability to work independently and in teams.

About the Position

Seeking a motivated Electrical Designer/Drafter to support electrical system design from concept through construction. This role involves hands-on responsibility for a wide range of project types, including K–12 and higher education, mixed-use, commercial, residential, tenant improvements, and office buildings. The ideal candidate can work independently while collaborating with senior engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Design lighting, power, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Perform CAD/BIM/Revit drafting and electrical design tasks
• Participate in limited client communication as needed
• Conduct job site investigations and travel as required (expenses reimbursed)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical design and drafting experience
• Proficiency in Revit 2025, AutoCAD 2025, BIM 360, SKM Power Tools, EnergyPro (Title 24), Bluebeam, and MS Office
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
