Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Design Technician to create BIM models and construction drawings for energy projects. You will coordinate with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to deliver accurate, constructible 3D models and drawing packages.

Strong BIM experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and a solid understanding of electrical layouts are essential. The role supports a hybrid work model and is open to multiple Jacobs offices nationwide.

We have an immediate opening for an Electrical Design Technician with strong experience coordinating BIM models in Revit and CAD environments. This role may also include oversight and coordination of multi‑discipline design teams to deliver accurate, constructible three‑dimensional models and drawing packages. You will work closely with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to support a diverse group of multi‑sector clients. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys technical ownership, collaboration, and delivering practical solutions on real‑world projects. The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $108,825.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
