Job summary

Cam Integrated Solutions Llc in Houston, TX, seeks a Manufacturing & Design Project Junior Engineer to support project engineering and electrical design for modular systems such as eHouses and Switchracks. You will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Lead, and Drafters to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Responsibilities include scheduling, procurement coordination, and producing I/O schedules, material lists, and schematics using AutoCAD

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking ability in fast-paced environments.
Good collaboration across departments and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager in scheduling, resource tracking, and delivery planning.
Coordinate with procurement, drafting, and manufacturing to meet deadlines.
Support documentation and project deliverables (cable/conduit schedules, I/O lists, material reports).
Create electrical distribution and control designs with Drafter and Engineering Manager.
Review/ revise electrical drawings for IFA/IFC readiness; generate schematics in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
Ensure designs meet feasibility, manufacturability, and code compliance (NEC, UL-508A, IEC).
Provide on-demand technical clarification and assist in troubleshooting and QA support.
Help document lessons learned and proposed design enhancements; support quality assurance.
