Job summary

CAM Integrated Solutions seeks a hands-on Shop Technician to assemble, wire, integrate, and test modular electrical buildings such as eHouses and Switchracks in our Houston shop.

You will interpret electrical drawings, perform MV/LV installation, conduct insulation and point-to-point tests, and support FAT readiness with engineers and QA. The role emphasizes safety, 5S, and teamwork in a full-time manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification in electrical technology.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly in modular buildings or industrial systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and layout drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
• Teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mount electrical enclosures, panels, equipment, cable trays, raceways, and conduit systems.
• Perform cable pulling, routing, dressing, and terminations for control and power systems.
• Install MV/LV components including transformers, switchgear, PLC panels, and drives.
• Read and interpret schematics, IFC drawings, and conduit routing plans.
• Conduct point-to-point wiring checks and insulation testing; support FAT readiness.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per 5S; track hours using Deltek/D-Tools.
