Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking Electrical Design Engineering Interns and Co-Ops to support development activities across our North American design sites. Successful candidates will carry out their internships at Advanced Energy’s sites in Colorado, Minnesota, Massachusetts, or California.

They will work with an experienced engineering team, closely collaborating on the development of high-performance, precision, efficient and cost-effective power conversion, metrology, or controls solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with focus on Power Electronics or Controls.
• GPA greater than 3.25 and active enrollment at a qualifying university.
• Ability to work in a lab environment and debug circuits with test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support design activities across power conversion, metrology or controls projects.
• Assist in development, testing, and debugging of prototype power supplies.
• Analyze test data and ensure compliance with specs.
