Job summary

dbrinc in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio seeks an Electrical Design Intern to assist with power distribution diagrams, one-line diagrams, lighting layouts and receptacle design under supervision.

You will help develop interior and exterior lighting plans based on IECC, NEC, NFPA 101 and IBC; use AutoCAD and Revit; collaborate with the project team in a fast-paced environment; and show a willingness to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution diagrams, one-line diagrams, lighting layouts and controls.
• Develop interior and exterior lighting plans based on IECC and energy codes.
• Review submittals during construction and respond to contractor questions.
