Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Intern Engineer based in Fort Wayne, IN. You will join the Control Box engineering design team to develop electrical control panels from concept through production, analyzing components and layouts for robust, cost-competitive designs.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields with a 3.0+ GPA and legal US work eligibility. Hands-on lab work, project support, and some CAD/PCB tasks are included.

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or Engineering technology or Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Project tracking assistance
• Preparing shipments (customer samples, components, etc.)
• Technical assistance in the lab including hands on building of control box samples
• Assisting Control Box project engineers with customer projects
• Other engineering tasks for the Control Box team include specification and drawing generation
• Helping others with miscellaneous tasks as time permits
