Job summary

Carrier seeks an engineering intern in Syracuse, NY to assist the design, development, and release of container refrigeration products. You will support electrical and mechanical system design, run experiments, and help with data acquisition and analysis under guidance of project engineers.

The role requires pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, a 3.0+ GPA, and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• This program requires pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of electrical/mechanical systems for container refrigeration units.
• Design and implement required experimental facilities; plan/supervise experiments and monitor data acquisition.
• Plan and conduct experiments in the lab along with using modeling tools.
• Hands-on experience in related field or previous experience is desired.
• Self-motivated problem solver to system design challenges.
