HDR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Intern/Co-op in Charlotte, NC to contribute to electrical design across Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal projects. You will create electrical drawings and assist engineers in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.

You should be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program, with strong attention to detail and good communication skills. Local candidates are preferred and BIM/Revit experience is a plus.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Electrical Engineering program.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree.

Responsabilidades

• Create electrical drawings for facilities across markets including Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, and Federal; cover power distribution, lighting, communications, and security.
• Support, coordinate, and work closely with multidiscipline design teams.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and design for layout plans and power one-line diagrams.
• Assist Project Engineers, other Electrical EITs or BIM Specialists as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
