Job summary

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering required.
• Completed RF or Microwave coursework.
• Familiarity with RF measurement equipment preferred.
• GPA minimum of 3.0.
• Proficient with Altium, Cadence, LTspice, ADS or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, analysis, simulation, and testing of RF, analog, and power management circuit card assemblies for advanced communication and electronic systems.
• Assist engineers with schematic development, component selection, RF signal chain design, and circuit performance optimization.
• Participate in characterization and laboratory testing using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
• Perform circuit simulations and analyses to evaluate gain, noise figure, linearity, power consumption, and overall system performance.
• Contribute to design documentation, technical reports, design reviews, and test procedures.
• Gain hands-on experience developing next-generation RF and mixed-signal hardware while working alongside experienced electrical and RF design engineers.

Qorvo’s Electrical Design Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Job Summary:

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• Student must have completed some RF or Microwave design course work
• Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
• Familiarity with design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, LTspice, ADS, or similar engineering software.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Self-Starter with good communication skills
• Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
• Strong writtenand verbal communication skillsto conveycomplex technical information
• Detail oriented to ensure design and delivery of high yielding products
• Be able to enjoy working in fast paced work environment

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
