Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a NEW GRADUATE ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL - SATELLITES (STARLINK) to own the lifecycle of satellite and gateway electronics. You will work across avionics, payload, gateways, and hardware test teams to design, analyze, and validate complex electrical designs for space-grade hardware.

You will collaborate with mechanical, software, and test teams to ensure robust hardware during production and on-orbit operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline.
• 1+ years of experience design/analysis of circuits, electronic products, or hardware (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply).
• Graduating in the winter of 2026 or spring/summer of 2027.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop high-reliability electronics for satellites and spacecraft.
• Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit performance of complex electrical designs.
• Get hands-on and support hardware through production, satellite integration, and flight.
• Work closely with engineers from adjacent disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performance hardware.
• Challenge assumptions and pursue problems with an open mind.
