Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for integrated measurement systems.
• Own the full design lifecycle—from requirement specification and feasibility studies to component selection, cost analysis and scheduling.
• Perform detailed analyses including circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, and electrical load balancing for 120-480VAC power systems in compliance with NEC, NFPA 79, IPC, SEMI, IEC.
• Program PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley) and integrate control and safety-interlock systems.
• Create conceptual and detailed designs using AutoCAD and CREO, including drawings, BOMs, test procedures, and fixtures.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate across mechanical, software, systems, manufacturing.
• Procure prototype parts, conduct testing, and support system integration and manufacturing handoff.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure design requirements are met and resolve issues throughout the product lifecycle.
